This post is going to be a preshow thought on TNA’s Lockdown ppv tonight. Tonight is a pretty loaded card. This is going to be my first TNA ppv and I am really excited about it. You have the “Lethal Lockdown” match pitting Team Sting which consists of Sting, AJ Styles, Rhyno, and Ron Killings against Team Jarret which consists of Jeff Jarret, Scott Steiner, and AMW(Chris Harris and James Storm). Another match I am really looking forward to is the Match between Samoa Joe as he defends his X-division title against the most suicidal, homicidal, and genocidal wrestler Sabu. This should be an awesome match but some might say its not going to be good because Sabu is going into this match hurt because a couple of weeks ago in Mexico, he suffered a broken arm and a concussion. The concussion should be healed but his broken arm will not be healed so he is not going into this match 100 percent healthy but then again, he never is. So all in all, I think the show will be a great one and after the show is over, I will immediately do a post about my overall thoughts on the show. So stay tuned to the blog because my thoughts on the show will definitely be done before the end of the night.

This past weeks blog will be done in the next few days but this post is one I have been waiting to do ever since I started this blog. I love to predict things around this time of year because, ladies and gentlemen, it is Wrestlemania season. No matter if WWE is on an upswing or a downswing, it is always fun to predict what will happen at Wrestlemania. I am also going to predict who will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. I will first give my Hall of Fame inductees and then run down the card I see happening at Wrestlemania. Now, here are my inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Class of 2006 WWE Hall of Fame inductees:
1) Bret Hart
2) Dusty Rhodes
3) Eddie Guererro
4) Jake Roberts
5) Ted Dibiase
6) Jim Duggan
7) Road Warrior Hawk
Now in my lineup for Wrestlemania 22, I will give you the matches and why I think they are happening.
WWE Women’s title: Trish Stratus (champ) vs. Mickie James: This is something you could have predicted when Mickie first came here. It always leads to a conflict when a person turns on his/her idol. Lately on Raw in the past few weeks, you could see some tension and when tension arises, a feud starts up.
Lita vs. Maria: This is not that big of a match but you could look at this match as just another match on the card. But, a few weeks ago on Raw, Maria pinned Lita in their mixed tag match involving Cena and Edge. It will start when Maria is interviewing Lita and brings it back up.
HHH (represents Dusty Rhodes) vs. Ric Flair: Winner becomes new GM of Raw: The reason I predict this match is because last August Dusty Rhodes said on WWE Byte This! that he would like to wrestle Ric Flair again. Also a couple of weeks ago, I saw somewhere that WWE was going to have Dusty as the new Raw GM and he would not just be a part of the office. But Dusty will not be wrestling for himself. He is obviously too old to be wrestling and he seems not to be in that great of shape so he finds someone to represent him. The person he will choose will be the “Cerebral Asassin” HHH. The reason I predict that is because last fall, Flair and HHH was one of the hottest feuds of the year. They also never really finished it though because Flair won 1 and so has HHH. So it will also be the rubber match between these 2. Also, we all know that HHH loves to be on the good side of GMs so he can get what he wants always and winning this for Dusty over one of his biggest rivals of all time will definitely earn him a spot on the good side of Dusty.
Edge vs. Mick Foley: Last Man Standing : It all began last week on Raw when Edge lost his match to Cena for the WWE title and blamed Foley then proceeded to spear him. They will fight and they will use this match to push Edge big time because they did the same thing for Orton at Backlash 2004 and at Summerslam of that year, he won the World title. Edge may have already held the title but he will win this one and go to Summerslam to regain the WWE title.
Vince McMahon vs. Shawn Michaels: We have predicted McMahon versus Hart for year but never Michaels against McMahon. The reason why it is not Bret this time around is because he can’t actively wrestle anymore but he will be a referee or he will interfere on someone’s behalf.
WWE Title Triple Threat: John Cena (champ) vs. RVD vs. Randy Orton: Orton took Mysterio’s ‘Mania title shot from him at No Way Out and ever since Mysterio never picked which title he wanted to challenge for, Orton still gets to make a decision. Orton versus RVD was a good feud because remember it was RVD who Orton took the IC title from and they had an awesome match but sadly, they killed the feud too quickly when it could have gone on at least 2 months longer. We have senn Cena and Orton altercations in many interviews in the past couple of years leading all of us to believe there would be a feud between these 2 men. Now that have each been champ and with RVD in the mix, it could be a match of the year candidate fi all goes well.
World Title Triple Threat: Kurt Angle (champ) vs. Mark Henry vs. Batista: This match will happen because Batista returned at No Way Out and he has some unfinished business with Mark Henry and people have asked for the past couple of years who would win a match between Batista and Angle. Also, Henry and Angle hate each other so that is why he will be in this match.
Also, Undertaker will wrestle somebody but I can’t figure it out yet. Maybe Mr. Kennedy because ‘Mania is where Taker takes on a cocky wrestler and Mr. Kennedy is definitely cocky.
My next blog will be on this past week of wrestling in a couple of days. Thanks to all of the people that are visiting my blog and keep on coming.
On Sunday, November 13, the wrestling world was saddened by the death of Eddie Guererro. Eddie was 38 years old. To the wrestling world, he was known as Latino Heat but to his family, he was known as a devoted husband and father. He just moved his family to Phoenix to start life anew and leave all of the bad memories behind. Eddie was born into Mexico’s first wrestling family and had alot of rich Guererro heritage behind him. He grew up with a wrestling ring in his back yard because his father was the great Gory Guererro. Eddie broke into the business in Mexico working for AAA for a couple years and traveled all around the world before jumping to the states and working in ECW (Extreme Championship Wrestling). Eddie had a good run in ECW along with buddies like Dean Malenko and Chris Benoit. Eddie even held the ECW T.V. title and traded it back and forth with buddy Dean Malenko. After his tenure with ECW was coming to a close, Eddie, Dean, and Chris all got signed off by WCW (World Championship Wrestling). In WCW, he had some career defining feuds such as his feud with Rey Mysterio. Eddie brought in his nephew Chavo Guererro and teamed with him for awhile before turning his back on him and feuded with him. Eddie held the WCW U.S. Title along with the WCW Cruiserweight Title. In 1999, Eddie was in a near fatal car accident and was not expected to live past 48 hours. Eddie lived and was back in the ring shortly thereafter but because he had fights with the WCW hierarchy like Eric Bischoff, Eddie walked out of WCW. In January 2000, Eddie jumped to the WWE with Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn, and Chris Benoit and they became known as the Radicalz. Early in his tenure with WWE, he dislocated his shoulder and while doing a frog splash and was out for the next couple of months. Eddie returned and feuded with Chris Jericho for a little while taking Jericho’s European title in the process. He eventually lost the title but was with gold again after by winning the Intercontinental title. Eddie held that title for a couple of months before dropping it to Billy Gunn. At Wrestlemania 17, he defeated Test for the European title again and held that belt for a couple of months. In the spring of 2001, Eddie entered a drug rehab center and a couple of months later was released from the WWE. Eddie cleaned himself back up, fought on the indy circuit for awhile before WWE called and gave him a second chance. He returned in April 2002 and feuded with Rob Van Dam for the Intercontinental Title and using the excuse for his return by saying the RVD stole the frog splash finisher from him. He eventually beat RVD for the title and in late 2002, reunited with nephew Chavo, naming themselves Los Guererros and winning the WWE Tag Team titles in the process. In 2003, he was crowned the first WWE U.S. champ and held it until October of that year. In Feburary of 2004, he won his first WWE title from then champ Brock Lesnar at No Way Out. Over the next couple of months, he beat Kurt Angle and JBL while defeniding his title before dropping it to JBL at the Great American Bash in a Bullrope Match. He would never regain the title although tried really hard to. In 2005, he held the WWE tag titles once again with good buddy Rey Mysterio. He battled Rey Mysterio in a classic match also at Wrestlemania 21. He eventually turned his back on Mysterio and had a very good summer feud with him also beating Mysterio for the first time at Smackdown’s debut on friday nights on September 9. He was recently fight World champ Batista and was saying he has gotten away from his old ways of lying, cheating, and stealing. Lats Monday, it was announced on Raw that Eddie had passed away and many wrestlers said some very good things about Eddie recalling chidhood memories and road stories. Eddie has left his mark on the wrestling world and he will be forever missed by WWE wrestlers and fans around the world as he has lied, cheated, and stolen all of our hearts with his positive attitude and unforgettable charisma. Like his DVD is named, Eddie cheated death many times but this time death cheated him. On behalf of myself and my little brother, we will miss you and never, ever forget you Eddie.

On August 19, the wrestling world and Combat Zone Wrestling lost an awesome athlete that being Chris “Cash” Bauman. He debuted in CZW in 2001 and was seemingly being praised by the CZW announcers very early in his career including the host of Pro Wrestling Radio Eric Gargiulo. It is said that he lived every day to the fullest whether he was being faced with adversity or not. Chris Cash passed away in a motorcycle accident including his cousin Jeremy Bauman. Chris was 23 and Jeremy was 27. During Chris Cash’s career, he held the CZW World Tag Team titles with a member of Team Cash, that being Nate Webb. They defeated The Blackout (Ruckus and Sabian) on December 11, 2004. They held the titles until Feburary 5, 2005, when they dropped the titles to the HB Club (Jusitice Pain and Nick Cage). It is also said that Chris gave everything he had in every single wrestling match whether he was in the 1st match, in the middle of the card, or in the main event he always gave everything he had. My heart goes out to Chris’s family and friends because I know what it is like losing a family member and a friend. On 9-1-98, I lost my biological dad in a boating accident and on 3-4-05, I lost a close friend when he tragically committed suicide and not a day goes by where I don’t think of either of those 2 men because they were both very close to me. So I know what it is like to lose someone very close to me. CZW is holding a tribute show to Chris Cash on September 10, 2005 called “Down With The Sickness 4-Ever and admission is $10. For more info on that event, you can visit www.czwrestling.com and they will give you the full info on the event. In conclusion, I will just like to say that this blog is dedicated to the family and friends of Chris Cash and I do know he has passed away a little over a week ago, but I just wanted all of the best info I could find on Chris Cashs’ life and career.
