Live ECW Show Report
This past Sunday (July 9) I went to my very first ECW show. I have been to many wrestling shows in my time. I have gone to see WWE many times and WCW. I have been to house shows and tv shows. Now when I go to wrestling events, I much prefer the house shows because they dont have alot of bull crap that nobody cares about on it like alot of backstage vignettes. But after all of these shows that I have gone to including ECW, I can actually say that this show was by far my favorite. The atmosphere at this show was just so tremendous that I definitely had the time of my life. The fans including myself and my own family that went with me were just yelling things out at the wrestlers. Now originally, I was 5 rows back from the ring. But when the show was about to start, we saw that a whole lot of seats were open including ones by the aisleway so we moved there. I have to tell you also that because of our move my step dad got some excellent pictures for the site and they should be up in the next couple of days for you curious people that would like to see the pictures. Anyway we all were chanting many things such as FU Vince, Big Show swallows, You F’ed up, Holy ****, and of course ECW. The show was better than the ones on tv. Sandman didnt fight to big of a chump this time, he actually wrestled a real match. He came out form the fans as usual but he was interacting with them this time. They had an extreme vixen contest between Kelly and Francine and as a 16 year old seeing those girls in person. THEY WERE HOT!!! What else can I say. And finally the original main event was scheduled as RVD defending his ECW Title in an Extereme Rules match against the Big Show. But a recent drug bust changed all that as RVD was suspended and in the process lost the title to the Big Show. So the new main event was Big Show defending his title against Sabu and that match was the best one of the night by far. If you want details about that match or any other match that I will go in depth about, tune in to Eric Gargiulo’s “Pro Wrestling Radio” show this Saturday at 12e/11c at WBCB 1490.com or catch it archived at Prowrestlingradio.com. I will also give full results of the show this Saturday as well.
