WWE Ridiculing God

This post is somewhat of a personal one. Now, for the record, I am a christian and if you have been watching Raw lately, you should know why I am writing this post. Now this storyline between Vince and Shawn Michaels is completely offensive where. If you don’t know what I am talking about, let me give you the synopsis of what I am talking about. At WM22, Shawn beat Vince in a street fight. The next night on Raw Vince proclaimed that Shawn had a higher power helping him. Next week, Vince went to a church looking for god which is absolutely ridiculous. Now Vince has proclaimed that he is better than god and has created his own religion called “McMahonism”. Then earlier this week, Vince was going to and this was quoted on wwe.com this week that Vince was going to put his only begotten son in a hadicap match against Michaels and god. God everybody. GOD!!!!! It was absolutely ridiculous to read that and it sparked off so much contreversy that it is now quoted that while flying over the Atlantic Ocean, Vince had an epiphany and has changed the match to a singles between Shane and Shawn. This storyline is so offensive that this is the first time in a in my whole life that I will not sit through a whole Raw and I am even considering not watching it at all because this storyline is so sick. Last monday, he goes out there and makes fun of god and even creates his own religion. When he showed a picture on the screen with Moses carrying the 10 commandments down Mount Sinai and Vince standing next to him with a cover of his muscle fitness magazine, it absolutely disgusted me. This is the most offending thing that they have done ever that I know of. You don’t have to be a christian to really understand how offensive this is. No matter what religion, we should all know how sick this is. Now for you christians out there, you should know that it is totally disgusting when someone makes fun of god but it is even more disgusting when it is done on television. This might be a little too personal for some of you out there but I had to let everyone know how I feel on this issue. WWE has completely crossed the line with this. They have crossed the line more with this than they did with the live sex celebration between Edge and Lita last January. I am not trying to offend anybody out there with this post. If you practice another religion then good for you. I am for everyone practicing their religion of choice. It is that I am disgusted with what they are doing on wrestling these days and as far as I know, pro wrestling was not created by no means to come out on television and ridicule god. If you heard the Cowboy Bill Watts interview on Eric Gargiulos Pro Wrestling Radio show, he talked about what you want your child to learn on wrestling these days morally or ethically and the way they ridicule god was one of his points. They are harming kids brains with this kind of stuff and believe me, there are kids that are young that watch that and then turn around and think it is cool to ridicule god like they are. Now again, I know I might have taken it out there in this post talking about god but it was so offensive that I had to let everyone know my feelings on the matter. If you are a christian and read this post, please leave a comment telling me if you think WWE has taken it to far and if you are offended by this. If you don’t practice christianity and you read this, of course leave a comment about what you thought about this post and if you want to leave a comment on something else besides this feel free to do so but please again if you are a christian leave a comment about this issue. Be safe evryone and god bless.

Also a little side note, I might be getting TNA Lockdown tomorrow night so check out the blog before the ppv because if I get it, I will do a preshow post and immediately after the ppv, I will do a post giving my thoughts on the show so definitely check out the blog tomorrow. I will be busy during the day and I will do my preshow in the evening so check it out then.
